Instructions on how to Write a Narative

Narratives follow a storyline, so they must:

Have a clear introductory paragraph that sets the story

• Where?
• Why?
• Who was involved?

Develop action in the middle paragraph

• How did it all start?
• What was the sequence of events?
• How did it all end?

End clearly and coherently

• What are the consequences of these facts?
• How do the involved people feel about it?
• How do you feel about it?
